YOUR PERSONAL INVITATION

BEHOLD, I STAND AT THE DOOR AND KNOCK. IF ANYONE HEARS MY VOICE AND OPENS THE DOOR, I WILL COME INTO HIM AND DINE WITH HIM AND HE WITH ME.

THE LORD, JESUS CHRIST

Revelation 3:20 NKJV

God is Love. He delights in mercy and eternal fellowship with His people.

God is Light. This means He is absolutely holy.  Nothing sinful or unclean can ever stand in His presence.  We all have sinned and fall short of His glory. To approach Him would be like literally gazing at the sun and being blinded or walking into the sun and being consumed.

But His love was so great for us, He sent His only beloved Son to bear our guilt in His own body on the cross. Jesus became one with us and lived a sinless life that always pleased His Father. Then on the cross, He took our place. He became our substitute. He arose from the dead and now lives to bring forgiveness of sin and eternal life to all who will come to God by faith in Him. The work is complete. The only thing that remains is for you to accept His invitation.

Do you hear Him knocking at the door of your heart asking admittance into your life?  If you do, you may respond something like this:

“Lord Jesus Christ, I hear you asking admittance into my life. I know I am a sinner and that I cannot save myself. I believe you died to take away my sin. I now turn away from my sins. Come into my life, forgive my sins and take up residence in my life. With all my heart I now receive you to be my Savior and my Lord.  I am yours forever, Amen.”

.

“Into my heart, into my heart, come into my heart Lord Jesus. Come in today, come in to stay. Come into my heart Lord Jesus.”  The words of  that little song are the proper response to His  invitation.

If you have accepted His invitation, we would be pleased to hear from you. If you have any questions, please let us know.
