A time to get in depth with various Biblical topics.  A time is set aside to pray for the church, our membership and community and to give glory to God in praise and thanksgiving.

The church has many annual events which are used to nurture Christian fellowship.  The Chili Dinner, Ice Cream Social, Pot Luck Dinner, Church Picnic, Harvest Dinner and the Christmas Sing provides times when we gather together all for the glory of God.

The Choir performs a Christmas Contata and and Easter Presentation.  The Chilldren's choir performs many times during the year.

The First Baptist Church of Niles is represented by a congregation of Bible believing Christians, who gather together, to give praise to the Almighty God, and to learn of His ways through Biblical teachings.

Our goal is to glorify God by living under the Lordship of Christ more fathfully.  We do this by being and making disciples of the LORD who grow in grace and knowledge of out Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The church has been known in the community as a "friendly church". Whether you are a first time visitor, or a long-time member, you can be expected to be greeted warmly upon entering the church. We provide a "Country Church" atmosphere in an urban environment.

We are a multi-generational, multi-ethnic congregation.

Music in the church consists, of congregational singing of hymns combined with more contemporary Christian music.  Much of the music is from hymnals, with piano and organ accompaniment. Music specials may use pre-recorded accompaniment.

We believe that the Christian lifestyle is not confined to the Sunday service, and provide opportunities for additional advancement of the Christian learning  and fellowship.
